Paintwork protection
Protective sheeting and masking reduce overspray and keep sensitive areas clear.
Our underside rustproofing treatment is built for long-lasting protection, not a quick cosmetic coat. Preparation, layered underseal, cavity wax and quality control all matter.
Once preparation and any rust repairs are complete, the vehicle should have a clean, dry, solid surface ready to treat. That is when the rust proofing process starts.
The treatment covers the underside up to the inner sill edge and the inside lip of each wheel arch. Hidden cavities are treated separately with heated wax injection.
The exact approach varies by vehicle condition, but this is the typical sequence after preparation is complete.
Protective sheeting and masking reduce overspray and keep sensitive areas clear.
An initial coat is applied for even coverage across the prepared underside.
A heavier second application builds the main protective underseal film.
A final layer completes the coating and leaves the underside protected.
Heated wax is injected into cavities to help protect hidden seams and channels.
Heat lamps and drying time are allowed between layers and before collection.
The vehicle is checked before the sheeting is removed and the finish is cleaned.
Process photos, invoice, warranty certificate and service record are prepared for your records.
Rust proofing treatments are guaranteed for five years subject to annual inspection and fair usage. Annual inspections allow us to check for damage, top up cavity wax and keep the protection doing its job.
If you use the vehicle off-road, near saltwater, through winter salt, or on rough tracks, the annual inspection becomes especially important because damaged underseal needs attention quickly.
